The NIMROF PL-825-1 Full Set is a specialized water and gas leak detection system that combines advanced acoustic detection technology with a gas tracing sensor module. This unique sensor, developed exclusively for the PL-825-1 model in partnership with Beijing Paliana Technology and Trade Co., Ltd., enables the precise detection of hidden or hard-to-locate leaks—especially in underground pipelines. This gas sensor is only compatible with the PL-825-1 and is not available on any other NIMROF model.
The PL-825-1 is equipped with NIMROF’s high-sensitivity microphone technology and 8-level filtering system, allowing the user to clearly hear water leak sounds even in noisy environments. With adjustable gain control, even low-pressure or subtle leaks can be detected. Its compact, portable design makes it ideal for both indoor and outdoor use. The included electrode system enables leak detection without the need for headphones—especially useful for silent clean water leaks.
The integrated gas sensor, developed in collaboration with Beijing Paliana Technology and Trade Co., Ltd., introduces two highly effective leak detection methods that are unique to this model:
In this method, a mixture of 95% nitrogen and 5% hydrogen gas is injected into the pipeline. At the point of leakage, hydrogen escapes and rises to the surface. It can pass through nearly all materials covering the pipeline. The PL-825-1’s sensor detects this light hydrogen gas on the surface, allowing for precise localization of underground leaks without the need for excessive excavation.
Another feature exclusive to the PL-825-1 is its ability to detect methane gas evaporation from buried oil or gas pipelines. The sensor analyzes the surrounding air and identifies sudden changes in gas concentration. When the equipment detects the presence of hydrocarbon gases, the location is pinpointed as the leakage point—making it ideal for pipelines that are inaccessible or difficult to monitor with traditional methods.
The PL-825-1 offers a streamlined and intuitive user interface, enabling fast learning and efficient operation even for users with minimal technical background. The gas sensor system is provided only through special partnerships and is not publicly available, making the device more exclusive and tailored for high-level professional use.
